HELP Foundation has been executing the Orphan Sponsorship Program for the last 10 years. HELP under the same program organized a counseling session with orphan students at the Project Office of the Foundation on May, 19 2023. The session was led by Dr. Arbaaz Mushtaq, senior psychologist of Kashmir, through a one on one conversation with students while their guardians accompanied them. Dr. Arbaaz discussed various topics like low self-esteem, depression and other issues these children are facing in their lives. The students were counseled regarding how to deal with such issues and stay clear of mental health and relatable problems. HELP is keen in organizing more such sessions for the benefit of marginalized people especially children and women who do not have access to such facilities.
